A MIDWEEK GRAVEL RIDE AT DALBY FOREST

Given that all 4 of us at LINX are some form of self employed / freelance, when our pal Chris asked if we fancied a day out at Dalby Forest on the gravel bikes, we couldn’t say no. (Well, Tom could, ‘cos he was away working)

So, one bright, clear but crisp Wednesday morning in mid-October had us saddling up and ready to explore. The route was based on a lap of the recent National Gravel Championships 2025, but Forestry England’s 8500 acre North Yorkshire site has so much more to give than that.

Yes, we got lost. Yes, we felt very remote. And YES, we will be back!
